About TPS Trade Connect

TPS Trade Connect is a service from The Prestige Standard, a Double Bay business built on premium stone and surface care and on managing trades for homes across the east, the North Shore and the Northern Beaches. The clients who asked us to look after their sandstone and travertine kept asking who to call for the house wash, the windows, the deck, the pool, the gutters, the rubbish after a clear-out. Trade Connect is our answer: a way for homeowners here to reach vetted, independent tradies without the guesswork, and a way for good tradies to find work close to home. You can reach us on 0494 810 609, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm.

We started a matching service rather than another contracting business because these jobs do not need a middleman doing the work; they need a filter. House washing, window cleaning, sealing, gardening, rubbish removal and pool care are mostly unlicensed trades, so anyone with a van can advertise them and homeowners have no register to check. The result in suburbs like Vaucluse, Mosman and Palm Beach is damaged render, streaked glass and sealer peeling off driveways. By checking identity, insurance, work history and conduct before a tradie sees a job, and adding a licence check where the law requires one, we put something useful between the homeowner and the search results.

We cover the suburbs we know, across three regions, chosen because we already work there, because the housing and conditions are alike, from salt air and sandstone to tall gums and steep harbour blocks, and because they sit close enough together for a tradie in one to serve the next. We chose ten categories and thirty-seven services for the same reason: they are the jobs clients ask about most, they share site conditions and rules, and they are where a careful tradie and a careless one produce very different results. Water filtration is the exception that needs a licensed plumber. We would rather do a few things well than list every trade in Sydney.

Our standards are the ones on the How we vet page, and they apply to us too. We tell homeowners plainly what vetting is and is not: a check on who the tradie is, not a guarantee of the work. We do not publish numbers we cannot stand behind, we do not invent reviews, and we do not call tradies licensed for work that needs no licence. We say Sydney tap water is safe, because it is. When a job needs a licensed plumber, electrician or building contractor, we say so and match one. When something goes wrong we follow it up, and tradies who fall short are removed. That is the whole offer.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. It is a service run by The Prestige Standard from Double Bay. The Prestige Standard's other work, in premium stone and surface care and in trade management, continues separately; Trade Connect is the matching service for the ten categories listed on this site.

No. Every job matched through Trade Connect is quoted, contracted and carried out by an independent tradie under their own ABN, licence where required and insurance. Our role is to vet the network, match your request and follow up afterwards.

Because we know them, because the housing and conditions are alike, and because keeping the area tight means the tradies we match genuinely work nearby. Covering all of Sydney would mean matching strangers to strangers, which is what we set out to avoid. The areas pages list every suburb by region.

Phone 0494 810 609, Monday to Saturday from 7am to 6pm, or use the contact page. For a quote, the quickest route is the form on any service page; for joining the network as a tradie, use the form on the For tradies page.

Are you a tradie? We're looking for you.

We're building a vetted network for the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs. If you do good work and turn up when you say you will, we'd like to send you homeowners who are ready to hire.
